Its great to see them out running and enjoying themselves. I sometimes take the soccer ball or rugby all to break up our walks. they spend as much time as the dogs running up and down te hills after the balls.
I will have to stretch his feet a bit to fit he is kiddy size 11. How far of size 1 is that maclad?

I bought a pair second hand for my 5 year old, still waiting for him to grow into them. They live in his bedroom and we try them on every couple of months.

My oldest just got his first pair of walshes given to him. They just fit him now! - their first outing together will be the 16th December! he can't wait!

At the Stoop? Hope you are wearing fancy dress.
I just need a pair of yellow briefs or swimming trunks to complete my outfit!

Dave & Eileen's races are great during the winter, but make sure the kids are well wrapped up. In the summer BOFRA are great for kids with an emphasis on fun.

My youngest started at 5 years at Malham Show and is still running.

Watch the pressure though because some kids win lots at certain ages but then grow earlier/later than others and might have a bad patch. Lots give up at that point.

    Congrats to your son.
When are too were too small for fell shoes or orienteering shoes we bought them astro turf trainers with the biggest studs we could get. The other advantage s were price! and being made of leather they were just that bit more waterproof on wet grass.
Needless to say they wouldn't entertain them now
