    Did my first Champs Race today at Ilam. Very well organised and marshalled over a short but tough course. Really enjoyed it but took a tumble by the river after the Thorpe descent which knocked the stuffing out of me for a minute but recovered to finish 106th. After 90 mins of having grit, grass etc removed from my wounds at my local MIU I re-hydrated with some Farmers Blonde at The Lathkil. An eventful day!
    Visibility good except in Hill Fog
