Cheese and biscuits (especially if some decent Wensleydale is involved) with proper butter

I thought this thread was about North African cuisine then realised I couldn't spell.. 🙄

Cheese is my downfall too. Good and mature. Straight or on a biscuit.

Sparkenhoe. Red Leicester cheese as it should be.

I had some wonderful mature Red Leicester at a work do before Xmas. I bet your gear was it Anthony. A million miles from the waxy plastic stuff from supermarkets etc

    Good thread, Stagger.

    Toast, salt-free butter and Marmite.
Asda Thai Green Curry crisps (when they can be bothered to stock them).
Walkers Sensations Wasabi and Ginger crisps.
    Walkers Cheese and Onion crisps.
CHEESE: Jarlsberg, ripe Camembert, even riper Blue Stilton (the latter two on water biscuits with a glass of Port).

    My arteries must be gunged.

No Andrew. Corned beef is great but it's got to be with sliced, fresh beetroot or sliced fresh onion.
