Distractions

The perimeter of the cricket ground on the other side of the road from my office is used my some athletes for their training. It can be very distracting when I can look out of my window and see an attractive young lady doing her reps round the field.

Obviously it won't be long before I am getting distracted by the sound of leather on willow. [Do they still make bats from willow and balls from leather?]

I was at my son's league football game a couple of year ago. It was very one-sided and rubbish, but there was a woman's hockey game going on behind us, there was a lot of dad's loosing interest in football in favour of hockey that morning.
