    Noisy neighbour

Actually, he's not an immediate neighbour; he lives at least 100 yards away. But all through Spring, we can hear him screaming. He's a peacock.

Is it cruel to keep a peacock without a peahen?
In his lifetime he suffered from unreality, as do so many Englishmen.

You should get an animal that you like the noise of but the neighbours don't. I know someone who had a few donkeys saying they make a nice noise. "Nice" is obviously in the ear of the beholder.

Do howler monkeys make good pets?

we have wild peacocks here in Blackburn. Apparently been around for years. In the area of Gorse Road if anyone passing through fancies checking them out.

If your neighbours peacock lays an egg in your garden who’s egg is it?

You'll have to get up a bit earlier to catch me out RichA. Peacocks don't lay eggs!
