Does liberalism cause mispronunciation of gaelic place names or vice versa?

I watched this on the Beeb Wednesday (I think) and it didn't look right, so not surprised it was a fraud.

Every time I hear a radio tuned into a commercial station I realise how blessed we are to have advert free broadcasting. There has to be a way to maintain this? Perhaps take a leaf out of Spotify et al and have a free commercial service with an ad-free subscription option??

I listen to talk radio everyday. I find it's balanced and far more informative than the BBC :-)

While watching match of the day live on bbc 1 they only went and miss Chelsea's first goal.
Poorly timed replay and the goal had to be shown as a replay.

    Totally rubbish coverage.

Not keen on saying this but sky may be dearer but you get what you pay for.

    Scrap it.
hear hear! although i wouldn't put it in quite those words, i agree with Llani Boy. it is totally left-leaning, unbalanced reporting, and vomit-inducingly liberal elite and out of touch with the average person in the street outside London. What's worse is that it is dangerously so. It presents itself as balanced factual reporting whereas it is woke propaganda, filling the middle classes minds with intersectional nonsense and identity politics.

    scrap it.

Sadly, I have to agree with a lot of that. Auntie Beeb has always been the mouthpiece of the Establishment no matter how much it tried to plead 'public service' status. The Anti Brexit bias over the last 2 years confirmed that.
But....but. I think an acceptance and tolerance of that is a price worth paying for protection against the inanities of advertising.
