    Yep - 50% out after yesterday's stage. Still going for G but Pinot is going to be on the podium.

    There have been 12 first-time winners since Indurain in 1992 and no-one has defended their title. (Well Armstrong of course but he didn't really win it anyway!).

    Does anyone even remember Oscar Pereiro (apart from his mum and his dog)?

    I have to admit I had completely forgotten about Pereiro though admittedly he only won as Landis was DSQ'd.

    I'll add Kruijswijk into the mix for my final top 3. He's been quiet up to now - keeping his powder dry?
