    Champs Races 2020?

Does anyone have any idea of which races are being considered for next year yet?

The only one I know is the Welsh 1000metres, which is the 50th year and also in the Welsh Champs.

That probably doesn’t answer your question in the slightest but it’s all I know, and one of the very best races...

Is it this time of year again? I can confirm once again that Shutlingsloe has not been considered.

The Welsh Champs are interesting me next year, and I think i'll give them my best shot...

    Cardingmill Canter
    Welsh 1000m
    Pen Y Fan
    Trefiw Mill
    Black Mountains

off the top of my head... and a couple of others too...

Interestingly the North Wales series shares two of these races, along with a couple more which I'd planned to do anyway, so the plan is to have a pop at both the Welsh and North Wales champs...

Cardingmill Canter in the Welsh Championships? My first thought was that Offa's Dyke needs reinforcing, since those pesky Welsh seem to be spilling over the border. But then I thought, since trains from South Wales to North Wales pass through Church Stretton, why not have a Welsh fell race there?

Like Travs, I paid £10 this year at a certain race where WFRA members got an entry for £3, and I've joined WFRA for next year. I'm not sure what the benefits are, apart from the satisfaction of supporting the sport in Wales; presumably we get a printed calendar for the whole year, rather than having to rely on the website which only lists races about 2 months in advance?
In his lifetime he suffered from unreality, as do so many Englishmen.
