Cant remember who won, I think it was a Springfield Strider. I believe Mr Snowden came in in the mid to late teens, and I dont think Luvshack was racing, and so had no excuse to strip.
Excellent, I was beginning to fear that the world might be coming to an end. Order is restored!
Someone called Tristan from Springfield Striders won, Kristian Edwards 2nd, James Woods 3rd, Eryri guy 4th and myself 5th.
I'd never fallen in a race before so needless to say I was gutted to do so whilst leading and feeling great! Took most of the impact on my knee which will be a bit stiff for the next few days!
Why is it that I can run up Lantern pike easily when training, but struggle hands-on-knees when racing?

Nice time and position ba-ba. And what about 6th, 106th, and 206th (my bet's on the middle one). I managed to gain 2 places with a glorious slide, roll, and recovery reminiscent of my 'snowboard-roll' on the first slippy downhill to the stream. I had elected to run in trail shoes which were not a good choice for the weather and the downhill grassy slopes. Got re-taken by two Penniners on the return uphill slope into the fair, but managed to fight off Vaugh (Gloss) into the funnel.
Cool Brett, cheers. Well done to all. 115.
