Yeah... but...
Do I come and watch in case the oldest record gets broken and see it happen, or do I race and say that I was in the race when the record got broken ???
Decisions, decisions....

Hmmm all this sounds like hype to me. The record seems pretty safe. But maybe, just maybe a roadrunner being chased by a farmer might manage it...
does anybody know what the course for this race is like e.g. is it steep?
It's entirely runnable - more's the pity. No let-up at all.
But the piece de resistance is the uphill finish into the Sheepdog Trial field - well worth saving a bit for that!!!
That record ain't going anywhere!
Lloyd has the 3rd fastest time, which is still over a minute off. He got that time when he was REALLY flying. Don't think anybody on the current fell scene is capable of getting the record, although if Joe and Si push each other...
I'd like to be provoed wrong, but I don't think I will be.
Me and the family might pop over, but I fancy a sprint round Three Shires. If we can't be arsed making the journey north we'll race Lantern Pike.
P.S If I get within 3 mins of the record i'll be happy.
