    Six Nations.

    So far, so good. Win for Wales so that made us all happy in the pub, not a great game but moments of magic and early days for the new regime.
    England turned over by some young Frenchies, that made us even happier, not sure if we are the only pub in Wales that flies a tricolour flag and the landlord wears a berret for the game ( in mitigation they have a holiday cottage in France, not England), but probably not. Maybe my imagination but I think Shaun Edwards influence is already showing?
    Scotland still look like they might beat anyone on the day, but not many of those days and they mustn't drop the ball when it really, really matters.
    Ireland, dunno, probably passed their peak, may come again?

    This is the only time I wish the French well, when they play England.

    Well done Wales and Ireland. My 2 favourite teams.

    A perfect 6 nations weekend for me! Each game went the way I hoped. Well done Froggies! Wales were not tested at all but I enjoyed being there and observing how the team shape worked under the new regime. Felt sorry for all the Azzuri who had made the long journey more in hope than expectation. Now that Parrise has hung up his boots, they need a new hero.

    Fact they were pros before they admitted it.

    Brit nick. It's quite simple. Its tribalism. And the English tribe has always held itself as superior since time immemorial. Rugby is a great way of having a legal scrap to restore a sense of self esteem to the downtrodden regional tribes. In Wales its acceptable to lose to anyone but the English!
