I've also been taken off the RO's email list as I only receive info by the back door.

I wonder what the criteria is for managing the RO's mailing list. It probably includes conformance
Is one actually being a Race Organiser?

I was in 2019 and in receipt of emails until I started this thread in February. I had an event planned for end June, which will have to be put back now due to CV, but I still intend to host it.

So, since the FRA is unable to read your mind, actually "No".

    That's poor Graham. Really poor.

I was on the list in February clearly. I am an RO. Many ROs register their races after the calendar. I have done in the past as I don't need the calendar to promote my event.

It's not about reading my mind, it's about having a mechanism for maintaining an RO email list. That mechanism should allow at least for ROs of races for the previous year to be on it.

Just as an aside, I had forgotten I took a year off in 2018 from organising any events but I did in 2017 and 2019.
I didn't register my June event in 2019 until April.

I don't really give a monkey's Graham. It just seems very childish and to a large extent irresponsible. Someone has consciously removed me from a group email list.

Still, there'll be some fun when people find out what's going on.

The FRA is going down slowly.

Very poor to be childish towards RO's too.

Hardly supportive from a previous Chairman either.

Oh, and to save you checking, I am a fully paid up member of the FRA.

I'm not bothered mate. So am I.

The plan is to introduce a tiered system for non FRA members at £2, £3 or £4 extra per race, with a few exemptions such as races that are attached to a gala and English legs of the British Champs.

I've personally got nothing against it, but i'm not so deeply involved in organising races etc as some on here.

Without wanting to anger anybody on here, i personally support the idea in principle...

I'll not comment further as this is the organisers section so i don't feel sufficiently qualified...!
