    Still going.
He took a long break after leg 1 (14h or so) then another rest at Ennerdale.
with long rests may be the perfect base for a summer attempt!

Actually an Englishman domiciled in Colorado - with an impressive palmares in the western states ultra trail running series.
Wynn Cliff & I covered his road support and had a challenge getting into Wasdale, even in a 4x4 pick-up with "proper" tyres ..... Wynn's son-in-law is a farmer.

I was a bit of an oddball until I was abducted by aliens; but I'm perfectly OK now!

Yep the time for this winter round is not important really all he has to do is complete it and he will have the winter record, then come back later in the year and break Pauls record then he becomes the first Wainwright round double record holder.

Tracker currently showing no signal on Yewbarrow, Damned good show of Mountain craft and tennacity given the prevailing conditons.

here is what he has to contend tommorow :-

Tracker shows him going down The Band from Bow Fell. Don't know if he's decided to abandon the whole attempt, or whether he'll be off up to Crinkle Crags tomorrow morning.
In his lifetime he suffered from unreality, as do so many Englishmen.

Yep and the tracker for the support shows it was last tracked @ 1330 at Ulpha but no signal, so not sure what is happening but I do know that the weather at the moment is evil and it`s not forecast to get a lot better:-

Yep trackers show the team heading home to Ulverston.

I guess Dom is down at the moment but he will have learned a hell of a lot and gained a lot experience to be used on any future attempt.

The lad has impressed me with the tennacity and mountain craft skills he has shown with his ability to overcome atrocious conditions with his solo 4 days on the fells.

At 23 he will certainly be a name to watch out for in the future, maybe just a little more planning on timings and road stops with his support crew would have helped.

Anyway well done Dom I look forward to dot watching your next attempt.

    Planning on AUgust/December attempts now.
If he can get a weather window like early December 2019, when Kim set the BG winter record, that would be helpful! Batter than the crap the last few weeks.
