I asked a local in the bar last night why asylum seekers don't stop in Turkey.
His reply was "we are a poor country and don't give government handouts to these people"
"They head for the richer country where they get money and housing for nothing"
"The one's going to the UK are some of the ones who entered Greece last year "
Turkey is a lovely safe country with plenty of nice people.
