    More from Douglas Adams.

“A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.”

    More :-

“Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.”

I went to see The Trial of the Chicago 7 this evening at my favourite cinema - Pictureville in Bradford. It's a brilliant film, written and directed by Aaron Sorkin, but what was noteworthy was that I was the only person in the cinema (+ two ushers).

    Strange times still.

I am affronted! I have a very discerning taste in films. Although now I think back...last evening wasn't the first time I have been in solitary splendour in Pictureville.

If you bother to actually read it, the paper is about improving accuracy and reliability, not about the red herring of numbers. Of course anyone involved in testing wants an accurate and reliable test and the recommendations if the paper suggest some ways forward.

I and the family saw the new Marvel mutants film at cinemac about a month ago. At the start of the film we were the only people there (a couple came in after about 10 minutes).

After some careful consideration of what opportunity this rare occurrence afforded me, I concluded that shouting something loudly and mildly offensive was something I'd be unlikely to do again. It felt liberating breaking the rules in a way that offended no-one, but I couldn't help feel my imagination was as little limited.
