Had hoped to do the Wansfell race this xmas but i assume it won't be on in any format.
Shame... xmas week is usually fantastic for races... xmas day parkrun, then fell races boxing and new years day, with another in between...

7.97 miles, 3,048 feet, 2 hours 23 minutes: Waterhead - Jenkins Crag - Wansfell Pike - Hundreds Road - Wansfell Pike - race descent. Initially overcast and drizzly, later some blue sky and sunshine - very windy on the top. Very slippery - studs just lift the grass where there is any. Nobody else seen on the fell.

9.87 miles, 2,992 feet, 2 hours 48 minutes: Loughrigg trails. Lovely sunshine, slight cool breeze. Lots about, understandably - had to change my route about a dozen times to avoid people.

12.75 miles, 3,375 feet, 3 hours 24 minutes: Fairfield clockwise. Saw eight other runners, two of them juniors I used to train, one of whom beat Kilian on the Seat Sandal descent. Mainly sunny, the odd cloud, about 30 seconds of rain, cold wind at times.
