HIIT at 7 am and HIP - High Intensity Pilates - at 5 pm, so only a gentle stroll to Waterhead today. Very few pedestrians, but enough to mean multiple changes of direction and road crossings. It will take me a while to get used to a busy high street again. As to buses/trains/tubes ....

I've been wondering: at some time in the future when coronavirus has been defeated, we've all been vaccinated, etc., will we still automatically shuffle across to the other side of the footpath whenever we see someone coming?

Half of my newspaper is how, post-virus, the world will never be the same again etc etc.

Meanwhile stock markets are bouncing back because they believe in greedy, selfish, unchanging human nature reverting to type.

It was Margaret Thatcher who said "you can't buck the market", and she was usually right.

Wonderful. It reminds me of my first experience of one which was early morning on top of Tryfan and was accompanied by the haunting croak of Ravens.
