    7.75 miles, 2:17, 550ft

Walk with MrsWP around Houghton Tower and back. Come across a huge gaggle of 51 geese on the canal.

I actually had a run yesterday which went surprisingly well, a long steady uphill section. Today my legs ache like ******* and I had a very gentle 12 miles on the bike to try and losen off.
Don't roll with a pig in poo. You get covered in poo and the pig likes it.

8 miles, 2,200 feet, 1 hour 57 minutes: Wansfell Ridge. Only 5 on the fell. Perfect running conditions. In a couple of weeks the bracken will be a nightmare.

    12k walk in the Dale's.

Well Skipton golf club where my partner and me shot 43 stableford points in a seniors open competition.
Strange. The more golf I play the better I get.

Yes my bloody tax paying your furlough. Many teachers are swinging the lead whilst you swing a niblick.

Make the most of it Stagger, and don't sneak back into work again or you will be put in a corner and made to wear a pointy hat with a D on it!

I own that hat. Never the brightest student but very good at practical.

Welding and fabrication was a perfect trade and I enjoy the teaching of it.

Many years ago I used to do Tig and ARC welding but my favourite was acetylene. When I think about it I can taste the fumes! I also used to do a bit of metal spraying from time to time which took place in a booth, in front of a cascade of water.
