    Ha ha ha good answer.

Only 18 months from my 60th birthday when I can draw full pension.

    Aye, life's certainly good.

    Just how circumstances have fallen.

And my mental health is in a excellent place as well

Life is up and down like fell running.

    Tough bit and enjoyable bits.

Life currently is like the second half of the anniversary waltz. Coasting back with fabulous views over Derwent water, Keswick, Stair and looking straight to Skiddaw on a sunny day.

    Beautiful.

Why don't you clear off now and stop winding people up on here?

    Your the Turkey.

    Now go play golf.

That view as you run across Maiden Moor is stunning, but I also like the views south as you head from Robinson to Dale Head.

    Fantastic route.

Another favourite is Wast Water from the top of Lingmell.

The Scafell race was always a nice race with route choices.

Never been a good descender but the last one in the cautley spout race was great for surface, distance and route choices.

    Should walk it one day.

Bet you never thought we'd still be here mulling over "when this is over" almost 7 months on.

It is about time that people accepted that this will never be over, the virus will stick around with the 12 other deadliest viruses :-

    https://www.livescience.com/56598-de...-on-earth.html

and continue to do what viruses do, any talk of defeating the virus is futile and it is up to the human race to learn to adapt and live with the virus. Which means that the way we used to live is history and needs leaving behind us as we move forward using what we are learning about survival as time goes on.

With one daughter living and working in Abu Dhabi and the other now an Australian, with two daughters of her own, living in the Yarra Ranges north of Melbourne, it’d be sure as heck great to be able to visit them. I’ve yet to see my second granddaughter other than on FaceTime and messenger
