    Noticed B&Q opening stores.
House builder's going back on Monday.
    Jaguar Land-rover back early May.

Big business appear to be taking a lead.
(obviously under the guidelines of course)

I'm furloughed as of tonight. Tenders from clients not coming through to keep me gainfully employed.

But the undercurrent certainly appears to be that the construction industry is gearing towards becoming operational again in weeks rather than months.

I know it is low key: but I had no problem finding plasterers to come out for a renovation last week.
Seen loads of builders vans out.
The supply chains are disjointed. Eg Wanted a window quote and the mfrs have stopped.

I'm in M&E for high-rises, apartment blocks, care homes, etc...

We usually tender for works which are 12-24 months down the line, so a few weeks isn't critical at this stage, so our clients prioritising more pressing matters at the moment!

In the meantime i'll be increasing my mileage further still, and trying to push on with my Italian!!

Not long now to the beginning of the end.

I fail to understand why a decision made today must wait until Sunday to be announced.

This will not be helpful to anyone who has suffered from mental illness or anxiety over the past number of weeks.
