People think they can say anything if they hide it behind politics... although politics is not alone in that... football's the same.

Sayings one thing. We have free speech after all. It's the thinking it and then thinking to say it that's the despairing part. Some people are so bitter!

Some acquaintances in the village, of hard left standing, have just posted on her FB that deaths from the virus in UK are "nothing more than state sponsored mass murder" and further rant on all due to Tory policies etc.
With these mindsets there is little to say to them.

Thankfully now the architect "nastier vindictive politics" is banished to his alottment, the thugs of momentum are splitting: let us hope it is the last gasp of a hideous organistion, and their army of juvenile keyboard warriors return to the decaying swap from whence they crawled.

Another piece of Karma: not only is the nasty mayor relieved of Labour membership (to the applause of Ken livingston as well!) but she no longer appears on the solicitors website for whom she works. Hopefully permanently: who would hire her now?

    Karma.
    What goes around comes around.

That bookface has a lot of evil narcissistic people who post terrible things.

Maybe time to shut it down. 👍

Yes, this couple are the local Labour party activists, do all the door to door leaflets and campaigning. Very strong JC supporters they even said last week that they would have voted for JC to remain as leader if given the chance. So true to form of that part of politics - cloud cuckoo land.
And I say all that as someone who is very middle ground and not by any means far right, it does make their party unvotable for me.

    Pathetic.

With residents like that we should flood the valley and turn it into a boating lake.

I think they will find that they will attract a few more cyclists now.

It certainly will not be the majority of Bradwell folk who are anti cyclist. There is a large fund raising group in the village called Bradda Dads whom organise fell races and cycle sportives which raise money for the local school, sports club etc. And a large proportion of the runners and riders come from Sheffield!

Same old story, the vociferous minority grabbing the headlines.
Visibility good except in Hill Fog
