Still, it's interesting that this appeared just after Llani Boy posted this:

There are good folk in Bradwell as said above. I did the winter tour and it was great, organised by some of my friends. My wife is a Buxton girl and so I have a soft spot for the county.

Two men arrested after the death of a suspected van thief have been bailed.

Mark McVey is believed to have been assaulted after a stolen Mercedes Sprinter was pursued by its owner in Swadlincote on 13 May.

Mr McVey, 48, from Church Gresley, was detained in connection with the theft but died in hospital on Sunday.

The two men, aged 36 and 53, were initially held on suspicion of causing GBH before being re-arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.

Pity he died, but there would have been NO GBH charge.

Someone steals your motor they need a good beating.

Police from Chesterfield recently stopped a car in NE Derbyshire as ANPR showed that it was not insured. The car was seized and the male driver phoned his wife to come and collect him from the roadside.
She turned up in her car, and guess what, her car was not insured either so was also seized.

    You couldn't make it up!

I thought this was going to be a story about a fugitive from Tier 3 South Yorkshire.
