    Today's Home Cooking

    Bit of everything chilli.

Browned 500g of lean minced beef.
    Add:-

    2 oxo
    2 onions
    4 sticks of celery
    Packet of Coleman chilli mix
    Big tin Heinz baked beans
    2 cloves garlic
    1 red pepper
    1 leek
    Pinch of black pepper
    Pinch of dried chilli flakes

30 minutes simmering and warm up for tea with a jacket spud.

Nice to have time at home🙂

    Pirelli awarded food. (F1)

That's better than the other tyre manufacturer.

This is like the olden days.

    Got the bedding washed

    Went on a bike ride

    Pegged washing out

    Minced yesterday's leftover topside

    Made shepherds pie

    Vacuumed the house

Out for a sit down in the sunshine.

Jobs to finish are serve tea
    And
    Remake the bed.

Just like my grandmother used to do.
(Don't think she included the cycling)

And all this while the breadwinner is working.

Maybe it could be a model for the future.

Doesn't everyone have a roast or a bird on a weekend?

Clamp the mincer to the table, 3/16 disc and get turning. Perfect job and no waste.

Left over carrots and parsnips added.

Pan of mash on top and hey presto.

    Just out on sunbed now.😎🌞

Haven't had a sunday roast for at least 15 years I reckon... even on xmas day, i'll have a bit of the family bird/meat, but prefer to have it with rice...

Don't see the point in having something I don't enjoy that much...

My dad on the other hand has sunday roast and chip-shop Friday without fail (although chippy shut at the moment so he's struggling!).
