OK, outside of sporting activities, what hobbies are we up to?
Mine are:
Messing about with old motorbikes
Building 1/8 scale model cars.

Never a dull moment but my day begins @ 0430 which is when I pursue my main hobby and that involves covering several miles on the hills in the great outdoors with my collie for a minimum of 2hrs 7 days a week I don`t count this as sport just a way of life.

The older I get the Faster I was
Chess has always been a pastime of mine. In my early teens i had real promise. Now i'd be likely to hold my own as a league player, but nothing more than that. Have found myself playing a lot of online chess lately.
Learning Italian. I absolutely love the country and plan to spend a lot more time there. I had planned to make use of my furlough time and really get some studying in, however the likelihood of restricted foreign travel somewhat dampened my enthusiasm. At the moment i can make myself understood in tourist situations, and fine at restaurants, hotels, railway stations, etc, can hold basic conversations and voice my opinions... and can read Italian reasonably well, but my dream of getting up to at least a competent conversational level remains just that... a dream at the moment!

Right with there on all things Italian Travs. I have a trio of Italian motorbikes and an Italian car. Love the food, style, clothes, music, language and history. What a country. My happiest trip was a driving tour of the northern lakes incorporating Mille Miglia. Wow! So sad about the covid impact.

I've not explored much of the countryside, mountains. For me it's been the cities, as most of my previous trips have revolved around football.
For my next trip i plan to fly/train to Milan. Then just book one or two nights in advance, travelling to a different city every day or two, using the excellent rail service. Reckon I can get right down towards Lecce/Bari/Foggia, and back up to some cities I've not been to in the north, making a decent and varied trip in a fortnight's holiday.
Hopefully next year!
Gardening, cookery and music. Listen to loads and play various guitars. Quite fond of a beer if that counts as a hobby?
