Seems like there's a bit of a (public) jobs bonanza in your neck of the woods Travs. Maybe with an eye on the prospective cash flowing from HS2 completion?

West Midland's Police for are looking for an Assistant Director for Fairness and Belonging (73,000 pa), although candidates have to have...erm "an authentic presence" (can't think what that's code for!) https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/202...ng-criticised/.

There is a heck of a lot of enabling works going on around the NEC/Stonebridge area. I believe this is where there will be a station which branches off the mainline and provides the branch into the new Curzon Street Station in the centre of Birmingham.
