I would love to enter Fairfield, but based on my current level of fitness my predicted finish time would probably get my entry laughingly rejected!
meanwhile...
Derwentwater Dawdle on 24th April is still intending to go ahead ("staggered registration and start
times, one way systems in place at registration and checkpoints, external only aid stations, no supporters")
anybody know of anything earlier that's going ahead...?
Scramble the rock face through the glare of morning sun — to run
There's something going ahead i think midweek, round about 31st march. Can't remember exactly where though (perhaps Rossendale area?). Spotted it on facebook. Sorry that's not much help!
I think one or two things in Wales are planned, but they are subject to the imminent update on their restrictions, and highly unlikely to be for the likes of us on the east side of Offa's Dyke.
I'm racing on the track in less than three weeks though.
Looking through my race calendar, unless any of the traditional May races in the Lakes are on (Buttermere Sailbeck, Coledale(?).....) then i think Fairfield is likely to be my first one, with Helvellyn & The Dodds the following weekend.
Just had confirmation this morning, April in Ambleside is going ahead with a few changes. That's great to hear, many thanks to the organisers.
Unfortunately for anyone not already entered, it's full.

latest "roadmap" with minor updates...
The only change i can see of any note, is that travel for training & competition is now permitted (or from the 29th anyway). Indeed the track event i'm entering in April has been confirmed as open to UK-wide entries.
I guess unorganised is different to disorganised.
