    Ha yeah she likes sheep, rabbit and horse manure too. It’s like a banquet sometimes when we are out!

    Back to the thread title. Boring I know, how we love a digression.
    Our Autumn Rasberries are cropping really well. So glad I planted new stock 2 years ago. Our freezer is full of fruit, building a fruit cage over the currants and gooseberries was really worth what it cost. Even had some summer puddings - is there any better use for full cream.
    A good year for apples, getting loads from neighbouring allotment plot holders and I'm going to make some crab apple jelly soon.

    Yes Pink Fir Apple are my favorite spud, harvested a wheelbarrow full of them on Sunday. Also grow some Charlotte, butthey are all eaten now.
