Going forward, we should reach out in this space . . .

I recently had this from "Barry Clark"

    Hi,

Hope you are in good health

I'm looking forward to circling back if you might have gone through the last email. I would really appreciate it if you could share the requirements for a detailed discussion.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

    Thanks & Regards

Actually I haven't, where is it? It seems to be a common phrase amongst younger waiting staff. The problem is you get drawn into these phrases, I found myself saying 'can I get the bill please' the other week and kicked myself for it.

Is he a fell runner? Circling back is what we do when we've missed a checkpoint in the clag.

I would like to do the same, but as I work for the UK subsidiary of an American company these emails are usually from my boss's boss.

Personally I feel that one is only allowed to 'reach out' if you happen to be a member of the Four Tops.

The Daily Telegraph today in a puff piece to Colin McCrae states that he was "taken far too young" when he crashed his helicopter aged 39.

    Taken by who?

    Taken where?

Wikipedia reports the finding that "Mr McRae chose to fly the helicopter into the valley lacking the necessary training, experience or requirement to do so, embarking upon such demanding, low-level flying in such difficult terrain, was imprudent, unreasonable and contrary to the principles of good airmanship."

His recklessness killed 3 children, his 5 year old son and two friends; but they, according to the DT, just "died".

Llani Boy I can understand you being a bit wary of using youngster language n’all but the word cool is probably from the generation before yours, not anything after. Just watch the 1961 film West Side Story - they had a whole song and dance routine called “Cool Boy” https://youtu.be/wugWGhItaQA

Maybe you should drop the Llani and insert Cool instead
