    There is a video of him running after 8 hours 24 minutes - he does not look at all comfortable. I suspect those shoes only help when you are running fluidly with a short contact time. Think of running on a trampoline - lots of wasted energy.

    In my limited experience he should have tried to in a pair or worn out trail shoes. I only run on the flat in worn out Talons.
    Can't climb for toffee...
