EMOM X 30. Pull ups/Chin ups alternating for the first 10 sets.

    2 (PU) 5 (CU) 2 (PU) 5 (CU) 2 (PU)
    5 (CU) 2 (PU) 4 (CH) 1 (PU) 3 (CU)

All the remaining reps/sets were Chim Ups

    3 - 2 - 3 - 3 - 3
    3 - 3 - 2 - 2 - 2
    2 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 2
    2 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 2

Pull-ups are definitely not my favourite and my excuse is that the CU bar fits into a door frame and the grip is even narrower due to fixers. That's gotta be the explanation, nothing to do with being feeble

Wow, a very impressive session - well done.

EMWM for 36 minutes. I started alternating 1 pull-up with 2 chin-ups, but could only manage 4 pull-ups, so after that it was pure chin-ups; after 12 minutes I resorted to singles. So 4 pull-ps and 40 chin-ups in total.

Gosh pull-ups are hard, but I guess I had not done them for a while.

    Pull session tonight.

    Close grip pull downs, 6 x 15 @ 35kg
    Wide grip pull downs, 3 x 15 @ 30kg
    Landmine rows, 3 x 15 @ 32.5kg

Quite a lot of volume, but easy weights, feeling a bit low-energy today after yesterday's efforts, so didn't want to overly stress myself.

Low energy! Well done - that seems like a great session to me.

EMOM press-ups routine. 12 reps (floor to lock to floor) press-ups, every minute, for 10 minutes.

Secs remaining for each of the 10X 1 min sets.

    43 - 43 - 42 - 41 - 41 - 41 - 40 - 35 - 28 - 20.

Dead hang: with gloves 1 min 38 secs.

They bloomin' well are hard . Good stuff though Mike. That alternating was what I tried to attempt the other day, with a grand notion of trotting out dozens of alternating sets. I was soon crestfallen when reality struck. I've really got to work on my pull-ups too. I see others knocking them out by the dozen and throwing them into muscle-ups too.

Press-ups with a bar, EMWM for 33 minutes, sets of 10. So 330 in total.

    Tired!

I did a longer than usual indoor rowing session this morning - 20km, which proved to be a complete disaster for my original sally press-up challenge attempt, some 30 mins later, even though this is push rather than pull. I usually try and follow a typical row session (10k), with some pushing exercise. Anyway, today's effort was a puny 1 min and 31 seconds, and it wasn't at all very pretty, regarding the form. Off to do a deadhang...

A day late , because of the rowing and the rugby. It is a pity that the only time rowing becomes really interesting is when things go wrong.

Pull-ups, singles, EMWM for 25 minutes.

All my gloves are in the wash, so palm placement was crucial - I got away with it.
