    Tour de France 2021

Starts on Saturday, with highlights on ITV4 at 7pm for us tightwads

Can anyone beat the Welsh scryer, who correctly predicted the winner after stage 8 last year?

It's hard to see past Rog/Pog for the win. Hopefully G will make the podium if he manages to stay on his bike.

With Sam Bennett out through injury, Deceuninck-QuickStep have brought in Mark Cavendish as their designated sprinter. Based on his 4 stages wins out of 8 in this year's Tour of Turkey, he looks hungry and fast enough to be in the running to extend his 30 Tour de France stage wins tally

Totally agree that it's looking like a Slovenian one-two, the question is what the order will be. My head is saying Primož Roglič, but I much prefer the attacking style of Tadej Pogačar, so I'm going with a top 3 of Pogačar, Roglič, and someone from Ineos (I think Carapaz is their best bet)

From BBC sport website, he'll never catch the rest of them by running as they have bikes

Mathieu van der Poel is off his bike but nowt to worry about.

Just a shoe change for the Dutch rider, who is now up and running again.

Wish I had put a few s on him winning in Paris, would have been worth a punt 6 months ago and have got some very good odds. Bet that has changed at the bookies!
