    Pricing for FRA members/non-members

Do RO's need to have different race entry fees for FRA members/non-members next year (2022)? I was at one of the early meetings where this was discussed and it was suggested £2 difference for short, £3 for medium and £4 for long. Does anyone know if a final decision was made on this as I can't seem to find it anywhere?

Looking at next years races on the FRA site some do and some dont. I've two races next year and havent differentiated prices. one is entry on the night I cant see how we can check if someone says their a member or not. The other is a 4 person pre-entry relay and having so many combinations of member and non-members it would make entry fees a nightmare....

I understand its optional. And for entry on the day it would be just down to a trust in honesty if someone says they are an FRA member.

Other than a "trust in honesty" is there not a serious insurance implication?

Should a runner suffer a serious injury or cause an injury or loss to another in a race and it turns out that they entered as a FRA member at the lower rate when in fact they were not a member, would they still be covered by insurance?

FRA members are now able to download a membership card from SiEntries and many either save them on their phone or print them off and bring them to race registration.

We still get a card from the WFRA each year... i keep this in my wallet, and write my FRA and UKA numbers on the back.

    Traditional!
