    Angry New FRA Website

Why has the Forum been made so difficult to find on the new site?

Perhaps they don't want people to find us!
Visibility good except in Hill Fog

I dunno, to be honest the link to it is where i expected it to be when i opened the page..... you could argue that it could have its own tab along the top menu, but i don't think thats a massive thing.

The main thing i'm glad they sorted out is when you open the "race" tab, it now seems to default to the current date... i was getting a bit fed up of it always going to something like 2020....!

    Reckon you could be right.

Not really taken the time to check the new site over but first impressions are is that it is ok, but nothing special.

But thanks to those involved in working on it.

It looks very bright and "clean".

Tory Miller and Christ Elsby have done a good job and it's easy to overlook the wonderful work such volunteers do on our behalves because they rarely get to stand in the limelight.

I appreciate the work that people have put in to it. Sorry, and with respect I wish nobody had put any work in to changing the logo. First the CTC lost its classic winged wheel (and changed its name), now we seem to have list our own classic symbol of the fells.

Don't worry - it will be covered in mud and stained with peat in no time!

I like the new design but agree it's not easy to find the forum. Not sure on the logo - maybe it will grow on me. As a CTC/cycling UK member I can see the parallels and whilst I regret the loss of the winged wheel, I can see the new branding appeals to a younger and more diverse demographic and so may be not a bad thing in that respect.

Reactionary though I may be, I do think replacing a fern for an actual runner seems right given the accompanying words and that the FRA is primarily about fell racing.
