    I usually wear them with shorts otherwise I get funny looks off the neighbours .

    The lightweight ones are a very similar weight to a helly so if you're happy running in just a helly then you'll be fine. I usually wear the lightweight ones under a lightweight fleece or a cag if it's raining. I prefer the heavier weight ones for wearing on their own (with or without shorts) as I like to be warm when I'm running.

    Have non of the females on this forum got any super tips for restoring my current helly's to their former glory.

    £50 quid is quite an outlay at the moment.
