My money, if I had any, would be on whoever Bora choose between Jai Hindley and Wilko Keldermann as their main man.

It is often interesting to look back at who the professional writers on Cycling Weekly decided were "the contenders".
Their top 3 were Carapaz, Simon Yates and Joao Almeida.
Their 5 "GC wildcards" were Pello Bilbao, Hugh Carthy, Wilco Kelderman, Mikel Landa, and Miguel Angel Lopez.
They also chose 4 "ones to watch" so that is a total of 12 names on their list.
But what about Jai Hindley you ask?
Well he got just three words "and 2020 runner-up" as part of the Bora-Hansgrohe line up supporting Wilco Kelderman.
A full three words.

"...as dry as the Atacama desert".
Graham, not sure what your conclusion was of it (if there was any at all), but I would rather take it not as a negative point on the pro writers, rather it adds to the beauty of the sport.
Good point. Compare and contrast:
Q. Who's going to win the Premier league next year?
A. Man City or Liverpool.
