    Wharfedale 3 peaks

Cracking event, flagged if you need it, well organised, superb views, and a growler (pork pie) or pasty at the end with tea, coffee and buns. What's not to like. Event is for funds to the upper wharfedale fell rescue. Don't think this is a push over as it shorter than the other 3p, quite tough but you could use it to recce part of the fellsman as the same route from half way up buckden pike all the way to the top of great wherneside is the same. Cracking day out.
Short arms and deep pockets. A yorkshire man.

It is as HH says a cracking event visiting lovely parts of Wharfedale. Much more enjoyable than the 3 Peaks, and more low key and friendly. Did it the year before Covid and had hoped to do well. but was bu**ered by the heat! Had to splash in the beck by Cray to cool down. Still I passed the shop in Threshfield on the way home and got some fine pies and beer to recover with.

Yes, the fellsman cp is in a slightly different place, you would have to turn right sooner as cp is at the track top at top mere, 3p you stay on the higher ground and go straight on to cp.
