    Borrowdale Banksey

    I'm sure we're all aware of the slate phenomena appearing in the vicinity of Rosthwaite over the last few years and another (on Castle Crag) seems to have hit social media this week. Of course we have no idea who the artist is but it would seem to suggest the work of a local, skilled in dry stone walling, with a great knowledge of the local fells...

    Yes, but the "Borrowdale Goldsworthy" isn't alliterative and therefore makes a less good headline.

    How about the Lakes Leonardo?
