    Horwich RMI H'rs Centenary Podcasts

To celebrate the centenary of Horwich RMI Harriers, I have been recording conversations with current and past members.
Six uploaded already, the latest being with six-time Rivington Pike Race winner, Paul Dugdale, and more to come.
If you would like to listen to the conversations, here is the link -

I never knew Paul Dugdale well, but I met him a few times when he was a student at Dundee University (which coincided with my time as a research associate at St Andrews University). In the early part of his interview, he mentions a fell runner from Northern Ireland who was at Dundee University: that was Dermot McGonigle.
In his lifetime he suffered from unreality, as do so many Englishmen.

I hope Tony Varley is on the list.
