Top work Travs.
Pleased to say that, including myself, we are now up to double-figures who have sent me contact details and requested a Discord invite.
However... there are still at least 5 people who have expressed interest above on this thread, but not sent me contact details.
And there's still one or two forum regulars who haven't replied or expressed any interest... thats no problem at all, and i won't pressure people or name any names... but would be a better place with you on it!!
I'm not sure how it works Travs, but I'm guessing one element of this new venture will be that we can add folk.
So let's say Ingleborough Fell Race is coming up, we can start a discussion, invite folk via other platforms to join the discussion and allow entry from verified folk - ie keep out bots etc.
The problem with the forum, particularly since Covid , is we have lost folk because there was no racing to talk about and natural churn, but not been able to add new.

Initially i'll leave the permissions so that only i can send out invites to new users (happy to take requests!!).... basically if people are new to discord i wouldn't want people unknowingly altering any admin settings.
But would hope to open it up so that anyone can issue invites, ASAP
I'm in. I've just sent you contact details.
Cheers Noel,
We are now up to 14 (including myself)
Could be busier than the forum!!
Thanks for setting this up Travs.
Just e-mailed my contact details.
Visibility good except in Hill Fog
I have sent out the Discord invites (either by email/whatsapp/text, depending on what contact details you've given me, and whether i can find you on whatsapp etc)
I think that you just need to click on the link sent (once you've downloaded discord app of course!), and that should take you to the server. You should be able to then see/access and post in any threads.
There's no posts in there at the moment, except for one test message from me in one of the race threads.
If a new post goes up that you have not seen, then the thread will be highlighted, so you can easily see what is new.
When you first go on the server, don't worry if you can't see any messages. I think you can only view new posts sent after you have joined up (i might be wrong on this, but you might not be able to see previous posts sent before you joined).
Any problems give me a shout.
I've just attempted to start a thread
You might need to put on some training modules for us Travs
