It very nearly happened last year to a minibus load of runners from some obscure lake district club if I remember correctly.If you turn up at Whernside you'll be on your own
the fell ponies looked good in there new vests at great whernside
i talked to one and stroked his mane
but im ashamed to say i forgot his sugar lump
We had a great debut in our vests...we looked the part and we had a ball. Thats the main thing. Very glad we made the trip. I believe some ponies were in action elsewhere.
