Who's going to Edale on Sunday? its a cracking little race, lovely setting and the country day is a nice village event. Beer tent, burgers, cakes and sunshine, what more could one want?

I'm hoping to be there.
Not done this one before so I'll be the one at the back
you forgot to mention the dogs chasing ducks, farmers chasing sheep and locals to keep you entertained on route.
Runners get free entry to the show ground- show your number and look suitably shattered. Registration is in the village hall.
Free parking for fell runners- follow the signs.
The start is at 11am in the meadows at the bottom of Grindsbrook Clough where the Skyline starts. The finish is on the showground. Exactly the same route as previous years.
Ian- bring your Icom!
Cracking event as always, cool enough for the race and sunshine afterwards for the fair. No dogs + ducks this year but plenty more going on.
Won by Phil Winskill and Janet McIver.
Decided late Saturday on doing this race - then started to wonder why when lined up at the start, looking at the climb to come. But once we got going, it was good. Well organized, well marshaled, good event.
Janet set a new women's record, improving on the old by the couple of minutes.
Modest (as ever) Bill was second!!!! Well I hope it was Bill...?
Well done Debbie & the Team of helpers/marshalls; cracking race today, I watched from somewhere in the "race" as the usual suspects ran off...... very very warm & stiflingly humid on the climb, managed to sweat neet red wine all the way round.... as did young Winskill (amazing thing youth... & talent of course).
Off to rehydrate....
Miss Muddy Paws Dad....
Not clever & often stupid..
Outed!! It was a very distant second.Modest (as ever) Bill was second!!!! Well I hope it was Bill...?
