    Satmap GPS

    Been hearing bits and pieces about these for a while. Mostly about the delays, but apparently they're in shops soon.

    Handheld device with proper OS mapping. Better maps than the Garmin Topo, more robust and with better battery life than a PDA. Shame I'm skint!

    £300, plus £100 for each National Park map.

    That would be all my bike money gone....

    I have got a Mio A701 for the last 3 years which does all and more the satmap does, I have national parks via Anquet maps on SD card plus GPS text messages, phone and music player, it’s getting a little old as mobiles phone go.
