It will drive the illegal motorbikers onto the moors even more. At the moment at least some of them stick mostly to Rooley Moor road and the quarry.

It'll be a bugger for those runners on the last leg of the Pennine Bridleway Relay.
It's bad enough running up the track towards the quarries without dodging the trucks that would be coming out from Ding Quarry and hurtling down the hill.
