I think Winston forgot to inform the cashier of the password last year, i had to pay full price . I'll be speaking more clearly this time, and maybe repeating myself in case my loiner accent is hard for cumbrians to understand...by eck.

I know nobody missed me but... I'm back, in a new job with slightly less money and a 5 hr drive each day. Whoopee. Anyway no grumping. Can I please have a show of hands for this bike ride thing wot hann made me plan. Relatively short but tasty MTB route UNSUITABLE for 'cross bikes or hybrids but fine for hart tails etc. No pads or armour obviously. Takes place the day before XOTF and unless you stop for a long lunch you will be home before full dark sets in.

If I don't get rid of this chest infection I'll be sitting in the pub with you.

I'll be arriving in the lakes around midday, i won't be doing any cycling on friday because i don't know what i'm doing saturday, if i'm hung over from too many Godfathers i'll be walking with H. Might have a poke around the slate mines in Tongue Gill.
