The quality of the photos are amazing in the dark!! I didn't even notice a camera flashing even though I appear to be looking directly at it. At least I got a chance to see who was in front of me - that's the weird thing about the owl events, it's difficult to see who is next to you.
Looking forward to the next one already - might need to reccy, dont know that area at all.
Thank's for organising Grifter - they are good low key fun events.
That's me in the third picture ~ you'll just have to believe me.

See the light in the night
Yep. Someone did pass me way over to my left as I was doddering down - that must have been you AR.
I did see a light going towards the road but I made the turn half-right at the gate and round Pendle House into the fields. I was on my own from then on; No-one catchable ahead and just running scared in case some speed merchant reeled me in before the end
Great fun though, and more speed to come for sure (so watch out! ).
Cheers Grifter - I shall try to get a recce in on Beamsley Beacon. Hopefully some more Bowland Bats will get their arses in gear for the next one too - are you all listening....?
You can count me in, That is if there are no Cry Babys to stop me on my Bat bike ! the fact is it spends more time on my shoulder on steep rough terrain and I carry what I want on foot paths ! Wheezing Donkey you should know better! less that 10% of the footpath part of the pendle route was worth riding. Is it that some lads dont like to be over taken by someone carrying a bike!
Cry Babys
I might be Tup , But not too Tup to know that I am Tup:w00t:
