did a final bit of hill-work yesterday (even included some contouring )
should be no excuse for my not lowering last year's time by at least 5 mins
really looking forward to this now
everyone still running on sunday,i will be there, possibly the only fell pony?
I am a Fell Pony in spirit, but not received my vest yet
Me neither. Until then I shall consider myself a PFP = Potential Fell Pony, but I will be running on Sunday in GVS colours.
Cracking race, crawling with forumites.
There was indeed a pony in the race - but, alas, no grice (grouses?) - he must've had to stay in and do the washing up.
Great organisation by Wayne & Rose and their band of supporters.
yeh was a good race, good to meet up with everyone again,i was flying the fell ponies flag but there was a few potential ponies in attendance aswell
Ooo I feel rough after racing today. Tried a little too hard with a cold and sore throat - ahh well, you live and learn...
For those who are interested, I've attached a Google Earth file that gives you my stats for the race. Sorry about being a complete geek, but it's a new toy!! I saw quite few people with them at the race.
The file is zipped up.
