IS THAT THE 12" MIX
In the Christmas/New year break I went to Llanberis with my mate Paul for a night at petes eats. We planned on doing the peris Horseshoe, but woke up to howling gale, torrential rain and horizontal lamposts!. It was the 'bad day', Joe Browns had "Wind speed 35 - 65mph" etc. So we decided to do Moel Eilio (can't come to much harm up there) and see how it went.
Hardest couple of miles I've done in my life, took us an hour to the top, being blown into fences and all kind of sh1t. Great sport. Fell (literaly) into the cairn for a minute and then legged it back down again, we were shattered afterwards. That was tough, only saw one other person, as we were coming down ....... yup, another fell runner going up .
Is there a piece missing from our brains, or is there a piece added to our brians
Don't roll with a pig in poo. You get covered in poo and the pig likes it.
Weather may be poor, but at least we're starting to enjoy some extra daylight now. I do 40 minutes or so every morning at 7am and it's almost time to ditch the headtorch after 2 months solid use.
Yes, I'm now home in daylight after work , only gets better from here and now the mornings begin to lengthen as well.
Took the missus walking today, we only had to endure a hail storm on Pumlumon ridge (bloody hurt though, big old lumps). Spotted a small patch of blue sky for a few seconds - novelty
