    Calder Valley Fell Runners

    Hello again, do any of the CVFR lot know know what sort of training the club are doing tonight? and what sort of shoes i need to wear (road/fell?). Also, is there anywhere at the community centre to leave a bag of things? I might try and get down for the training...

    Frodo, if you look on our web site it indicates what sessions we are doing. Tonights delight is a 7 or 8 miles on roads but there is usually a large group heading out over the fells with head torches.

    In the community centre there are shower and changing facilities for a modest fee and also lockers for public use.

    It says 8 or 9 miles tonight, Gaz - Turkey Lodge after the long, long pull up Cragg Vale.

    Then in the Shoulder of Mutton afterwards for re-hydration, of course!

    Thank you, i'll try and make it and will bring along my headtorch and fell shoes just in case!
