After rubbish run over the Guisborough moors wearing my Mizuno Harriers i had a thought!
For one ,these shoes are rubbish no real grip on mud or rock,i remember reading somewhere that if you put a certain type of oil ,Eucaliyptus or something on rubber it will make it tacky.
I am not certain of the oil so if there is anyone who knows give us a post .
If this works we may solve the wet rock problem and have something for the Dragons Den!

Nice theory but wouldn't it wear off if you had say a road or hard track section before you got to the rocky terrain?

I'm guessing that as oils go, she's crude rather than refined...
