    Leeds Abbey Dash

Who's running? I am, although haven't had my race pack yet.

A friend of ours has not received her race pack, but another has. I presume they are sending them out in batches.

Got my pack last week, but I know of a few people who are still waiting.

If you want free and easy parking, park in the University car parks - free and empty.

    But Sssshhhhhhh

I'm not doing it I fell out with it with that appalling start last year although I understand they've improved it this year. I've decided I'm not a fan of big races anymore

Have they not changed the start again this year? I read something about it starting somewhere else in the city, but following the same route.

Very overpriced , i used to do it but won't anymore. The start was awful when i last did it, downhill for about 15 yards and sharp right. I seem remember the finish was a bit of a free for all as well. Can't say i'm impressed by it.

Me and other half will be doing it, for first and probably last time I think, because you have to do it at least once if you live in Leeds and also it's for Help the Aged, a charity that's not all that glamorous and hence deserves a bit of support. They have moved the start to outside the Town Hall, so a big wide start point which will then hopefully move without major bottlenecks onto Kirkstall Road. Was hoping to run the route before work one morning this week but not sure if I will make it now given diary - but there will be at least one Fell Pony vest on show, two if mine arrives.
